Today we signed all of the papers, turned over the money and got the keys to our new house. Now is when the real adventure begins. After signing the papers at the lawyer's office, we went over to the house to have another look around and see just what we were going to be doing. We didn't have the key yet, so in Melinda's words, "We sneaked in." At 1:00 we were able to go back to the lawyer's office and pick up the key. Then we went back to the house and did some more exploring. We needed to figure out just what we needed to do to start working on replacing the plumbing. The very first project was going to be getting water to at least one toilet. This is a real need, especially because we were planning on having the kids there with us while we were working.
