Day 24

We went into town and picked up a few things. We bought some temporary flooring (possibly for five years or more) for the 2nd floor bathroom and kitchen. We just want something clean and easy for these two rooms so we can move in and start redoing parts off the house the way we really want them to be. So for the bathroom a cheap piece of vinyl flooring. :) Now all we have to do is clean up the bathroom a bit and put it down. For the kitchen we went with a laminate wood flooring. We have put this into our other house before. So that helps, as far as us knowing what we are doing. We also got a small, cheap vanity for the bathroom.

When we went over to the house this evening, I continued to remove the old tile. (I think we will be doing this for quite awhile. We have only removed the tile in 2 1/2 rooms. There are 7 1/2 rooms to go.) And Jonathan was working on the drain pipes in the kitchen. He was having some difficulty with this. Of course it doesn't help that he isn't feeling well today. He has a cold.

We did get a new dumpster delivered. That is actually kind of sad, it takes so much effort to full those things and now here I go with another empty one. But I guess I will feel better after this weekend as the thing should be nearly full again. And by then there won't be much yuck in the house at all. :)
